Itinerary for Lab 4 (Meteor Crater)

08:30 DET, MTE pick up vans

08:45 meet at meeting spot (see map)

09:00 sharp! depart for Meteor Crater

10:00 arrive at Meteor Crater

10:15 walk out to rim; talk on impact craters (Fernando and Ellen)

10:45 walk out to near overloop; talk on stratigraphy of Meteor Crater (Michael)

11:15 walk to upper overlook; talk on hazards from space (Beau and Ray -- are you guys still enrolled?)

11:30 visit museum/visitor center

12:00 in visitor center; last talk on meteorites (Nate)

12:30 depart Meteor Crater

13:30 arrive on campus at meeting place

13:45 DET, MTE drop off vans

We will be doing only a small hike (a walk, really) on this field trip.
