E. O. Wilson once said "The human mind evolved to believe in the gods. It did not evolve to believe in biology." Obviously, there is some truth to this, though it also is tongue-in-cheek. When biologists do their work, there is some amount of faith that must either be included, or ignored. Pope John Paul II put it a different way: "Science can purify religion from error and superstition. Religion can purify science from idolatry and false absolutes." Pretty heady thoughts for the leader of the Church!

Now please hand your piece of paper to your neighbor such that these sentiments get passed around the room, with each person re-copying them. All in the name of Science!
