  • Pen and paper
  • Handouts/lab assignment/info from the web pages
  • If you are giving a talk on the trip, bring handouts for everyone (25 copies)

  • Good sun hat
  • Sunscreen
  • Sunglasses
  • Good sturdy walking shoes
  • Warm clothes and/or wind/rain jacket, especially for the Scenic skyride trip on September 13
  • Water -- figure a liter for a half day trip
  • Food/snacks/lunch

  • Binoculars?
  • Camera?
