Unlike most of Arizona, the summer weather in Flagstaff is very pleasant. Located at an elevation of more than 7000 ft in a Ponderosa pine forest, the site offers innumerable opportunities for outdoor recreation, particularly hiking and mountain biking. The Grand Canyon is only 70 miles away, and many other national parks and monuments are equally close. |
