A DECADE OF OBSERVATIONS WITH THE HUBBLE SPACE TELESCOPE

Abstract
Nick Devereux will highlight some of the more interesting results to
have emerged from the past decade of Hubble Space Telescope
observations of nearby galaxies, including some of his own research
concerning black holes.
 
Nick graduated from Leicester University, England in 1982, with a BSc in Physics and Astrophysics. He earned a MSc and PhD in Astronomy from the University of Hawaii in 1987. His postdoctoral research was completed at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, followed by five years as a faculty member in the Astronomy department at New Mexico State University. Nick has been an Associate Professor in the College of Arts & Sciences at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Prescott, since the Fall of 1999.
